Laurese Glover and Ru-El Sailor will lead a discussion around their journey from wrongful imprisonment to exoneration and the collaborations that have led to promote systemic change and support for those affected by similar challenges. Both Laurese and Ru-El's work ties in with EJI's mission to end mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the U.S., challenging racial and economic injustice, and protecting basic human rights. Food will be provided.
