Black is Free Soirée
Black is Free Soirée
You know the story. When Union soldiers arrived in Galveston on June 19, 1865, they informed the last enslaved Black Americans in Texas that they were free by executive decree. They were finally free. We are free. Black is free.
To celebrate the legacy of Juneteenth, join us for the Black is FREE: Juneteenth Freedom Soirée, a signature experience we’ve curated with intentionality and care at the stunning and historic Rockefeller Park and Greenhouse, in our beloved Glenville neighborhood.
Don't miss out on a celebratory evening of dancing, handcrafted cocktails, incredible flavor from our friends at PearlFlower Catering and most importantly, Black joy and communion.
The detailed itinerary will be revealed before the event. Be sure to purchase your tickets to secure your spot.
